Review content:
I have been a client of Two Timers for a few years now. I have been very happy with the service and professionalism and have made several thousands of dollars as well. The owner is a very nice, very honest person. I once had an issue with a dress I bought due to a repair that I had not seen and it made the dress not fit right. The owner immediately refunded my money, no questions asked. As with any situation, communication and business works best when mutual respect is involved. You have to be willing to express your expectations and understand the expectations (and yes rules of engagement) when consigning your items. One also needs to not be on a high horse about your stuff, its stuff, and if you cannot agree on things, take your stuff and go someplace that works for you. There have been things I brought with my consignments that Victoria has passed on, it happens, and I did not have a disagreement..cause it's not personal. Why would you scream at another human being because they don't think your ""stuff"" is a good fit for their store? As for the check situation, I can certainly understand how frustrating that is for some. I also can see how frustrated ownership has been by not being able to meet that expectation. I also cannot imagine the legal wrangling of an estate while keeping your business going and grieving at the same time. If your ability to survive is dependent upon $30 or $40 from your resale shop, that is a tough one, and I am sorry you are in such a situation. The owner is a person of integrity, I am sure everything will work out and I for one will support her business as she recovers. I love Two Timers consignment, and will stay a loyal client.
