My review is for the 10897 W. Colonial Drive, Floors Direct, in Ocoee, Florida. We would have dirt floors before we would use this particular Floors Direct again. The entire ordeal was a terrible experience. We ordered Mannington Vinyl Planks and carpet for our home, paying in full for the entire order back in May of 2013. We received a faulty lot of vinyl planks; within a week they began to drastically curl and wave. Trying to work with the management and the owner to correct the problem was just awful. Few returned phone calls and empty promises when we could finally catch someone was an ongoing problem. Their service was so terrible that we had to contact the manufacturer, Mannington, to get a solid confirmation that the problem was with the product. It is now December, 2013 and our project is still not complete! They installed the vinyl planks and carpet in October but ordered the wrong moldings/transition strips (a cost of $319.92) and have yet to supply us with the correct strips nor refund the money. It is simply maddening. Please do not be fooled by their false advertising guaranteeing customer satisfaction, or their misleading sign in their store with the owner's phone number if you should have a problem. It is all a smoke screen, once they have your money the ""service"" ends. As a side note, I think it is important to note that other stores may not have the same issues as the Ocoee store. In the future, I'd be sure to determine that the Floors Direct is not owned by the same Ocoee man who I understand owns several stores. I would avoid his stores completely and seek out a good Floors Direct store. Mannington (one of their main manufacturers) is such an incredibly stellar manufacturer.
