Review content:
I had a problem with a new Massage Envy location in Collegeville Pa. I had scheduled an appointment for my husband for father's day. Unfortunately, a tooth of my husbands become extremely infected. On father's day he woke up with a swollen face due to an extreme infection. We had to reschedule the appointment ( not cancel) and we were told that there was no way we could reschedule and that we would be charged. Had I known we would have been charged if we needed to cancel the appointment I would have never given my card information. I was NEVER notified of that until we had to reschedule. Eventually someone called back and said rescheduling would be fine. Yesterday, the day we rescheduled for, again we ran into a situation that required my husband to have to go in and meet with an oral surgeon because of an abscessed tooth. We wanted to reschedule but weren't allowed so we had to cancel and were charged 50% of the cost. Had I known 24 hours in advance that we would be faced with an unforeseen emergency I would have gladly called and cancelled but life doesn't always work like that. It was a true emergency situation and we could even provide them with proof of that. They were very cold and not helpful at all completely unwilling to reschedule. I mean, would you chose going in for a massage vs. going to the dentist for an emergency infection that has caused your face to swell??? Probably not. Then, I wrote an honest and professional review of my experience with them on their facebook page and they not only deleted it but proceeded to block me from being able to access that page. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. I am very disappointed with the whole experience.
