Review content:
My husband & I invited a couple to dinner at Da Vittorio. We selected this restaurant because it was listed as a Prime Card Member as 50% discount. I reviewed their website before making a reservation. Their website clearly states Everyday Happy Hours \r 5pm - 9pm in the Lounge\r $5 beer and wine\r $8 "you call it - we pour it" all premium cocktails. We arrived at the restaurant at 8:00 and had cocktails in the lounge before we went to our table. Our bill came to $261.36 before tip. After our Prime Card discount we would be responsible for $130.68. We did not notice that they charged full price for our Happy Hour drinks until we arrived home. When we spoke with the owner, Fabian Basabe, he rudely said that "we ate for free!" and he would not honor what his website states. He then said we were no longer welcome in his restaurant! He certainly does not need to worry since the meal was mediocre at best...our 1st clue should have been that the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday night and only 4 other dinner parties arrived while we dined...There are too many cordial and wonderful dining establishments in Miami that our deserve business!
