Review content:
As a wedding officiant, I perform ceremonies in many beautiful locations, but none is so awe-inspiring as the Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge. The view from their large outdoor deck is absolutely breath-taking. Even the road leading to the lodge is amazing as it curls around and switches back to entice you with what is ahead. As you climb higher and the lodge comes into view up on the hill, you just can't wait to arrive. Once inside, it does have a rustic feel, which might initially disappoint those looking for a more upscale venue, but hang on, for once you see their dining room and that outdoor deck, you'll be hooked.
The deck will accommodate a large number of guests--I've done weddings there with 150 guests and there was plenty of space. The staff will go out of their way to make you feel special and pampered. And, in case of bad weather they offer their front lobby, complete with cascading staircase and fireplace for you to have your ceremony.
Their rooms also have a rustic but elegant feel.
