Review content:
I began hearing a disturbing and annoying vibration on my awesome Klipsch CF3s.. I was afraid that my 20 year old speakers had blown. I called around to several speaker sales/repair shops, including Klipsch who told me they no longer made replacements for my speakers. Klipsch and the list of other stereo repair shops in Portland referred me to eBay for possible replacement, and also referred me to the Klipsch forum for help, but they could do nothing for me. I finally called Ja Mac Speakers. The man I spoke with very confidently told me to bring the speakers in and he would fix them. The gods were smiling on me, as it was not raining on this October Portland day. I loaded them in the back of my truck and drove to Ja Mac Speakers. When I arrived one of the employees met me, helped me unload the speakers, and began diagnosing the problem while I waited. As it turns out, the speakers were perfectly okay, but the cabinet structure was loose causing the vibration and distorted sound. I didn't know this was possible, even with a Klipsch product. I left the speakers, and the next day the Ja Mac man called and said he had re-glued and tested the cabinets. My speakers were ready for pickup. They were apologetic about charging me $20 for the repair. It was refreshing to find that this type of service and commitment to the customer still exists. I would recommend this business, and cannot say enough good things about my experience.
