Our experiences with Lowe's Installation Services have been terrible. Recently, we contracted through Lowe's to have a powder room floor removed and replaced. In order to make the process as easy as possible, we used our regular plumber to take out the toilet, sink pedestal and radiator so the floor only involved removal of about 15 sq feet of old floor and replacement with pre-purchased Pergo flooring plus replacing the baseboard on the walls. The subcontractor nailed through a water line when they replaced the baseboard. Said subcontractor has refused to fix their problem (and this was verified by my plumber AND the subcontractor). Lowe's has taken the side of the subcontractor and will only refund the costs of plumbing repair and pay for materials for *us* to fix the hole in the wall. This is has easily been the worst renovation experience I've had. The people at Lowe's are rude, judgmental, and ignorant. The store manager called me a liar after what was either miscommunication or he lied to me. I will never use this store again.
