I hope that anyone who?s planning a trip to the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area seek different lodging arrangements. I?ve visited this area for more than 4 years straight now, at least twice a year and have always been pleased. I?ve even stayed in a real cabin without all the fancy amenities and was truly pleased. Eden Crest has by far been my worst experience. Yet on the website, one of the first things that stand out is, ?a home away from home?. I can assure you that this is not a home away from home and the customer service is horrible. The cabin that we originally reserved had major sewer issues. Feces and everything else was backed up in the showers and tubs. We did not have sufficient heat and it smelled like a bucket of s**t! Though we were upgraded to a nicer cabin, the other party who traveled in a different vehicle could not make it up the icy mountain which we were told was salted. So yes we were compensated, if that?s what you call compensation. After spending the
