I am so grateful to Dr. Anderson and his wonderful ,caring staff for taking care of my "Larry", my out-going and comical Amazon Parrot. I was recommended to Dr. Anderson when my Larry was sick many years ago for feather picking.I was told he was the only avian vet around. Thank God. Although Larrys condition was light and he got through it...it would be years later when we would again need Dr. A's care. Larry wouldn't get up off the floor of his cage and his feather picking came back in full force. Dr. A ran tests and handled Larry with gentle and loving care and we found he was over weight. The diet I gave Larry was dangerous and I could have caused himto die. Dr.A explained about a parrots diet and foods that could be harmful or fatal. On a diet went Larry, no more pnuts! He got healthy and was once again handsome in a suit of green. Recently Larry had surgery to remove a lump on his wing that erupted and he bled profusely. Dr.A wasted no time and he and his staff took care of Larry
