Review content:
I had previously taken my sheltie to two other veterinarians (Spruce Creek Animal Clinic and the vet on Dunlawton and Peninsula) before taking her to Dr.Anderson at Ravenwood. She obviously had serious skin problems; flaking, itching, massive hair loss, and a very lethargic personality. I had mentioned to both of the previous vets that she had not had any problems are all before we took her to a groomer. Neither of the two other vets were responsive to my suggestions in the least. Dr. Anderson, on the other hand, took one look at my dog and properly diagnosed her with sarcophagus mange. She is finally acting like herself again and beginning to regrow her coat. I can't believe the other two vets misdiagnosed her with "flea allergies" when my dog literally had no hair left and scabs all over her body. I ran around and paid over $600 before taking her to Dr. Anderson who, in my eyes, is a phenomenal vet who also saved us money by not running unnecessary tests on my dog!
