I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Lyme disease, hypothyroidism and MANY other illnesses that are often ignored by mainstream doctors. I have struggled with them for over 10 years. Due to this I am very poor. I am impressed by Dr. Grobe's ability to take in a huge amount of complicated data about my illnesses, decide what is most important to treat first, respect my financial limitations, and explain it all to me in a way I can understand. And, she created a treatment plan with realistic steps - so many doctors just say "lose weight" or "lower your stress" as if this is something I can "just" do - instead she finds out specifics about me and helps me create a reasonable plan to gradually improve my health and quality of life. She has recommended various nutritional supplements and homeopathics and some small life changes. She is obviously dedicated to healing. She is caring and respectful. For me, these are as healing as other aspects of treatment. In many doctor offices I have been prejudiced against for being chronically ill, on medicare, having chronic lyme disease (which they don't "believe" exists), and many other contraversial issues - my quality of life takes second place to their prejudices. This is not true at Dr. Grobe's office. I have always being treated with kindness. If you are a complicated and sensitive patient this is the place to go.
