Not so great anymore! In the past I have had great service at a fair price with great customer service. I am sad to say that is not the case anymore. Chris the Service Writer has left the shop. In the past Chris would always advise us of other possible issues with the vehicle(s), but would never push the repair. He would generally say, hey in about 6 months you will need.....whatever, so start saving a little cash here and there. This past visit (October 2013) was not what I had become accustomed to. I tool my vehicle in for brakes and low and behold it needed lower ball joint and upper control arms replaced. These items are only two years old. The worst part is that when I declined the extra work and only wanted the brakes done. The new Service Writer tried to push a line of credit to get all the repairs done in one shot. Really come on!! I also found that Peterson is a bit high on their parts mark-up. When I called the owner and asked the question about the parts mark up, he said ""If you want your vehicle worked on for free, it won't happen here."" Not what I was asking for, just questioning the mark-up percentage on parts. I understand they have to make a profit, but a 60% mark up on parts to me is unacceptable. I will be looking for a new mechanic.
