I am sorry to say that my husband and I had a very disappointing experience with floor hut. When the salesman Mark came to our home I felt like he was very rude and unprofessional by telling me that I should have specified on the phone that we wanted to see hardwood samples as well as laminate...silly me thinking a salesman would bring samples of both. My husband and I decided to go to the showroom to see all our options and Mark was very friendly that day, gave us a good bid and so we decided to go with Floor Hut. After having the install take longer than expected because of warped hardwood(from the supplier) we found that the hardwood was installed improperly(nine short boards were laid in a row...which I have had multiple professionals tell me is wrong...plus it looks awful!) . Mark was also very rude to my husband when he was paying the second half of the bill-when they charged us $100 to install the baseboard(was supposed to be included) because it was larger than our previous baseboard??? I think that is tacky when people have spent well over ten thousand dollars! I brought the improper install to the attention of Mark and Cresswell twice now and was told that they would get back to me after they discussed and I have not heard anything. They do not seem to care about customer satisfaction or reputation. I am angry that we gave this company thousands and thousands of dollars! My friends had an install done by Empire and we had them quote us as well(which was a higher quote and not quite as nice of flooring) but I do wish now that we had of went with Empire as it sounds that their installers and salesmen are much more professional. I do no like to be negative but I am very frustrated and WOULD NOT RECCOMEND this company to my friends, family or anyone looking to do flooring. Hopefully this will help others\r
