We hired Panda Properties over the summer. At first we were very happy to be working with a small family business. We thought the owner, Bryan, was very friendly. Shortly after we hired them we started to have many problems. The job took much longer than they said. They never worked a full day. Although, I feel that we were very patient and understanding with them that seemed to backfire on us instantly. First they ""forgot"" to put down the right color grout in the bathroom. Fixing that took a complete day and should not have. Next they picked up the wrong tile and finished the entire job without saying anything. I personally gave him the tile along with the receipt showing the exact tile and price so he could purchase the rest. He requested doing that himself even though I offered to do this. Clearly the tile did not match and he never stopped to change it. We weren't happy but I stated that we would leave it be and not make them take it down. We were extremely unhappy with the flooring that was installed in the bathroom. It does not look profession and very clear that they laid it improperly as it does not line up. His solution was to add a THICK line of chauk. Our biggest issue was the installment a plumbing hook-up under the sink. We noticed that what he did was going to cause odor to come up through the pipes. My husband addressed this concern several times with him. After all of the issues that we had; we still honestly felt like they were very nice and we tried our best to work with them. On the last day of inspection of the work we were told that he would return to fix the plumbing (our entire kitchen smells from the odor coming up) and finish a small tile area that was forgotten. I made a mistake and paid the balance. I was told on two different occasions that he would come back. He never showed, never called and has never returned our phone calls. We are simply looking for the job to be finished properly. We never asked for a discount due to the poor work in the bathroom, extra time, paint that was chipped on our walls and hardwood floors that they scratched. We were just asking for the respect of a call back and for the job to be finished.
