I hate having to write this review but I feel everyone should know how this company really works!! I have a great experience buying my car but after only 3 months I had issues with my car. I took it in and got nothing but the run around. JOHN from the service desk is horrible. He doesn't listen and flat out lied about having several people drive my car. Came in to pick it up and he acted like he never called me then when I drove it and the sound was still there he acted like I was being a crazy lady. I had a mechanic drive with me and within 2 mins he told me to turn around and that he could hear it just fine sooooooo I guess no one did actually drive my car. I got the run around for hours before he stated that they don't even work on the Nissan I bought from them and that it needed to go 2 blocks to the shop that would actually be working on it. He then had my car towed without letting me know that (A) he was doing so and (B) there was going to be a fee. I come to find out that the issue with my car was no oil!!!!! So Hinshaw Honda apparently did not do an oil service change like they said they did when I bought my car. I was then told by the other auto shop that I would be getting charged $84 for the tow!!!! The guy at the shop even said he didn't understand why they towed it since the car was running and it was only 2 blocks away. I said I was not going to pay for the tow and would need to talk to the Manager at Hinshaw's Honda, WELL ONCE AGAIN that was truly a mistake, Tim the GM at Hinshaw's did not take any responsibility for his staff lying to me and the horrible customer service I received and kept speaking over me when I was just trying to give him the information and ask why I wasn't notified of a tow fee and also why there was no oil in car?!?!?!!?? I basically was told it was my fault and that I should be grateful they towed my car because I ran it dry with no oil (not true mind you per other auto shop). He was very kurt with me and basically threw his hands up and said this was all my problem. I said wow is this really how you guys handle your customers here?!?!? He said well what do you want me to do, I asked for him to be responsible for the tow fee he said no. I again expressed to him that I was not made aware of a fee and should have been before they decided to tow. He said fine what do you want from me again I said it would be nice for you to pay for the tow but since you aren't what can you do? He then said fine I will pay for half of the tow. I said ok if that's all your willing to do. He hung up!! Please take this review to heart, I work in customer service and no customer especially one who just bought a product from you 3 months prior should ever be treated the way I was. This place is all just for show when it comes to buying but heaven forbid something goes wrong because even with a full extended warranty they will try and pass the buck to their customers for a job poorly done by their staff and mechanics. Do not trust anything John says he is a liar. As for the GM Tim he needs to take a long hard look about how he is running HIS shop as he called it. Apparently there is no one higher in business than him either No VP and No RGM according to him, he is the almighty of this dealer ship. WATCH OUT FOR THIS PLACE THEY ARE SCANDALOUS!!! At least when it comes to non-Honda vehicle they sell!!!! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED and regret buying my car through Hinshaw's Honda.
