Review content:
I have had the worst experience ever with getting reimbursed for my contact lenses. I had my initial exam in March. The provider submitted my claim and it was paid in a timely manner. Then I had a growth removed from my eyelid in April and again the provider submitted my claim to my insurance company and it was paid quickly. Then in August, I returned to the clinic to order contact lenses. They said they submitted my claim, but I saw nothing. So I called and they said that they didn't have a copy of my insurance card on file, which I find a little unbelievable because they had it to submit my other two claims. So I gave them the information they needed off my card and they said they submitted it again but again, nothing. So I finally just got a copy of my receipt and submitted the claim myself to my insurance company. Since this provider is contracted with my insurance company, my insurance sent my reimbursement to this provider. Now I am being told that I have to wait to get my reimbursement until they research everything to make sure I am actually entitled to a refund of that money. The physicians at this practice are amazing. But sadly I will never return based on this experience. I really get the feeling that because they already have their money they really don't care what happens from this point out. Very, very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of competence. Go see these physicians for problems with your eyes but NEVER purchase contact lenses from them. You are likely to never see your reimbursement.
