My husband and I are new homeowners and knew when we were buying our house that there was a small water problem in the basement. We had a different company come out during the inspection process to give us a quote for an interior waterproofing system. After hearing what this company had to say, we went ahead with the purchase of our new home. After being in our home for a few months and many hard rains, we noticed the problem in our basement was worse than we had originally thought. We decided to call around for a few other quotes before getting started.
The previous quote we got on the interior system would not have solved our problems, but would have only hid our problem. We were very skeptical when the first salesman came to our house from Ohio State Waterproofing. We felt he was just throwing us a sales pitch and did not care at all about our concerns for the high price and our situation. He gave us an extremely high quote without even measuring our basement. We asked him to leave and did not agree to any services after his visit, we actually continued to get other quotes. After a few days we get a call from Ohio State asking why we did not agree. My husband was honest with them about our first visit, so they sent a manager out to answer and re-answer most of our questions and concerns. During this visit we felt as if he was actually listening to our concerns and gave us an affordable solution. We agreed. We were told our job would be "on call" and given "a no later than" date to have our work done, which was as far out as 4 months. As more and more water kept coming in, we were very happy they completed our job within 5 weeks.
Adonis and his crew were extremely professional and explained what they were doing throughout the entire process. They were respectful of our home and our schedules and we would recommend him and his crew to anyone. We are very pleased with the job they did and are hopeful our water problems are now a thing of the past.
