I can't even describe how bad my experience was with Utopia, but I'll try. First, let me tell you that we used this company for a limousine for our wedding. First complaint, not a big deal... the driver was late. Not only was he late, but he phoned me during the wedding to ask directions, knowing that we had an event coordinator to handle this sort of thing. Second, and most importantly, he showed up the wedding as we exited. Once we got into the Limo, the driver demanded payment on the spot or else we would have to get out of the limo. Funny thing is, WE ALREADY PAID! Yes, we secured a payment by CC months before the wedding. However, we had to collect cash, from our guests, so that we could be taken home by a limo that we already paid for. The drive got lost, twice, on the way to our destination, and had to ask me for directions. Total waste of time and money! It tooks months of filing complaints (one time I was actually told to go **** myself), and talking with our bank to get the one of our payments back (the CC payment). The owner of Utopia would not give us our money back, until my wife left a bad review here! The owner ended up calling my wife and told her that he would give us our money back (which he owed us anyway) if she would take down her bad review. So unprofessional. So in addition to my review, here is my wife's review which was taken down in order for us to get our money back: ""Most awful experience with a limo company. They demanded payment twice, once before the event, and another at the event (which was exiting my wedding), and held up the grand exit which we were trying to make, I then had to scramble for cash as they wanted the payment a second time, and they then told my husband to go **** himself when he called to inquire about the double payment and getting one payment refunded. They are a scam, trying to take your money!! BEWARE!!!!"" TL;DR: Utopia is the most unprofessional and useless company that I have ever dealt with. Do not use them, there are MANY more companies in Houston. I will personally come pick you up for your event before you use this company.
