Review content:
Thompson Center System 1 muzzleloader was the worst muzzleloader I ever purchased.I bought it new several years ago at Young Guns here in Cookeville TN.It was beautiful in the transparent plastic it was sealed in.It came with lead hollow point bullets with two part plastic pink translucent sabots with a cotton doughnut filled with bore butter. It also came with it's advertisement manual that stated ""With Thompson Center's new System 1 and it's interchangeable barrels, this is the only muzzleloader you will ever need to own"".What a load of crap! Within a few years they stopped making the barrels.I tried to order a stainless 54 cal barrel a few years later to go with my stainless muzzleloader, and was told that the gun and it's parts were outdated so Thompson could focus on their new products.I got a 54 cal blued barrel that they had in stock.Every time I remove the barrel from the receiver to take out the breach plug and clean and put back together,I have to sight the gun back in again wasting bullets.I wish to God I had purchased a 54 cal black diamond in stainless steel when I had the chance.
