Review content:
Yes, this is probably the best ski resort in the upper midwest. It is certainly much larger than, say, Afton or Welch in the Twin Cities area or Sundown near Dubuque. And it's the closest to mountain skiing you can get anywhere near the midwest. Problem is, it still isn't anywhere close to *actual* mountain skiing. A beginner or even lower-intermediate skier can stay happy here for a few days if they aren't too adventurous, but I like to have a little more fun. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to keep me interested for more than about half a day.
Pros: Location, Not Crowded, Lodging
Cons: Small, Monotonous, Scenic
