Exactly what DavidBrewer below stated happened to me. My car was hit while I was puting gas in my car. The other driver's insurance company told me they did not have a preferred shop so I took the car to Hernandez for the repair, my car was hit on the driver and passenger doors. the insurance company sent a check for what the adjusted wrote plus another check for ""supplement"" then Hernandez said they were short 1860.00 because after they started the repair they found problems they had not disclosed in the original estimate, so instead of getting with the Insurance company they did those repairs without consulting them and they would not release me the car. After 9 weeks I finally paid the 1860.00 so I would get my car back, they also wanted to charge me an extra charge for paying with a credit card.Did I mentioned that I was not at fault in this accident? oh yes I did. I have my case with the Georgia Insurance Commisioner and a lawyer. Please listen DO NOT, REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO HERNANDEZ COLLISION, crooks, liers, dishonest. Cari Perez-Savannah GA
