Review content:
Had a great experience with Dr. Shah's office. I was referred to him by my Pulmonologist and sleep physician. I later heard his radio ad, so I decided to give it a shot. I did quite a bit of research into CPAP alternatives (I can't stand that tank), and I found Dr. Shah to be the most qualified in the Bay Area. My physician recommended him highly, and as far as I know, he's the only one that solely concentrates his practice on this treatment. \r
The staff scheduled me promptly, and worked with me to get my insurance authorizations. I opted to get the pre-auth, so the process could take a little bit of time, but I was happy to wait. His office took care of all of it for me, so I didn't have to go through the hassle of calling insurance companies, etc. His office was really nice, neat and clean as I would expect from a physician. Dr. Shah was great too- he first tested me on whether I would be a candidate, and offered me a variety of options. He actually recommended one of the less expensive devices to me as he felt that would work the best with my lesser degree of apnea. The outcome has indeed been amazing... My snoring has nearly disappeared, and I am finally able to get a full nights sleep. It took a few days to get used to the device, but WAY WAY WAY better than having to use CPAP. My wife appreciates it too. I'd definitely recommend his office and treatment to colleagues. I've already referred a couple family members to him, so I hope they give it a shot!
