Our experience at the Northfield Inn occured during a difficult time for my family. Aglaia was kind and motherly, affording us every comfort and understanding. We were able to choose our own rooms and she was very generous toward us during our stay. \r \r The house is beautiful and well kept. Staying there is more like staying at the home of a generous and kind hostess than staying at a bed and breakfast. All of the rooms are uniquely decorated in the Victorian style. The beds are very comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. The breakfast room looks out upon a cluster of bird feeders and the beautiful Vermont skyline and mountains. Verdant and green while we were at the Inn. \r \r I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. Just be prepared to be treated like family!!
