Review content:
Spent a weekend in Ft. Lauderdale and went to Tropical Acres at the recommendation of our hotel. Classic steak and seafood house with excellent service, sublime steaks and fish (really, where can you get escargots as an appetizer anymore?), attention to detail. Not cheap, but certainly in line with other high-end steakhouses. Oh, I should mention that we were there on a Thursday evening and the place was packed...and there were two retirement parties going on in private rooms, too! There was a piano player, who played softly in the background. No, it's not a young crowd (at least it wasn't when we were there), it may not be ""hip"" or ""trendy"", but it was well worth the money and we'll definitely go back.
