I'm a college student, and didn't know what to do when my check engine light turned on unexpectedly and my car would barely drive. I called at 5:15 in the evening, 15 minutes after they closed, and told the owner what was wrong. He was extremely polite and helpful, and told me to bring my car in then and he could check the engine at no charge. He showed me exactly what was wrong and gave me a quote for how much a repair would cost. I was shocked that the price was lower than I had expected. The next day, Thursday, I called to have my car repaired because I had to drive two hours home on Friday. They were able to get it fixed that day, and my car runs even better than before. When I went to pick up my car, the owner even came out to the lobby talk to me, explained what they had fixed, and thanked me for my business. Definitely good service with a very friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend Mid-State to anyone who is in need of auto repair. They were extremely reassuring and helpful!
