My mother in law required home care services in order to be able to be discharged from the nursing home/rehab. the nurse was ordering it for 3 times a week, couldnt get an aide at all the first week she was home, the second week she was home aide showed up once and was a no show and we were never called, this has happened several times. When the nurse opened my mother in law he never washed his hands before of after the visit, he checked her abdominal incision line which was healed but he still should have washed his hands before and after and he did not use proper bag technique by cleaning the equipment after using it on my mother in law he just put it in the bag, the nurse also did not put down a barrier before setting the nursing bag or the laptop computer down.
