Review content:
I lived here for 2 years from July 2011 - June 2013. I had a 2 bedroom/2 bath place on the 2nd floor. Pretty nice actual apartment. The only issue we had while living here in terms of maintenance was our water heater broke down. They came a few times to fix it and eventually replaced the whole piece. \r

Parking here is a nightmare. You get parking included with your apartment, but it is not guaranteed. When I would get home late in the evening, it would be impossible to find a parking spot and I would have to park on the street. Midway thru our lease, they changed the parking policy for parking in front of the office. They did not notify anyone and I got towed. When I went to the office for the sole purpose of making sure other people would know to prevent them from having the same experience, they were not interested. They know that the parking situation is bad, but have no interest in fixing it. People continue to park there all the time. \r

My biggest gripe about the place is definitely the office staff. They quite frankly do not care about you as a tenant. When we were looking for places prior to living here, they were very nice and made it seem like they were accommodating. Now I know that is totally FAKE. We had a few minor issues while we lived there that took months to get fixed and required too much work. The biggest scam is their security deposit. I work at a local hospital and they stated that they were going to cut down the security deposit due to this to $200. When we turned in our place after 2 years, they not only took our security deposit, but charged an exorbitant amount of cleaning fees, charging an extra $300. There was nothing damaged in our place and we had taken good care of it; only normal ware and tear and the minimal cleaning required for the next tenant. I had asked them to walk around the apartment prior to turning in my keys, which they refused. They then sent me a bill, which I sent them a letter explaining my disgust. The charges included cleaning the carpet (which was in good shape) and changing the drip pans on the stove (which are disposable). Both of these I consider normal wear. I did not hear from them after my letter, and approximately 3 months later get a letter from a collections agency. Remind you, we were excellent tenants who always paid their rent on time and never had a complaint against us. It is very clear that they only care about sucking every last dollar from you, even when it is not warranted. I highly suggest you think twice prior to signing a lease here.
