Review content:
The Antlers is back! After some recent disappointing years that eventually lead to closure a new owner has resurrected this local iconic restaurant. The exterior of this building has no curbside appeal, but enter the interior and you'll see things are changing: fresh paint, minor remodeling (and a good cleaning of all the artifacts, antlers and game mounts) have made this an inviting and cozy place to enjoy a very good meal. The new owner is no rookie. He brought in a new menu, combining former Antler favorites (fresh planked whitefish, excellent burgers, etc.) with some new features (cherry vinaigrette salad dressing, etc.) Prices are very fair and servings are generous. On tap at the bar are crafted beers from the Mackinaw Brewing Company. We really like these recent changes, so once again The Antlers is our favorite dinner stop in the Soo.
