Review content:
After having my Audi A4 backed into by a Honda at a gas station, I found my rear bumper cover scratched, misaligned, and it had scraped the passenger quarter a bit. The insurance company recommended Cooks as a network body shop, and I couldn't be happier.
Service: Cooks was prompt, and turned the car around in a week. They allowed me to tour the shop first, which was quite clean, organized, and had many high end cars inside. They treated my wife quite well when she dropped the car, walking around it, noting any damage we saw plus making sure that any "unseen" damage was called out as well. They did call out 1-2 additional items that were caused by the accident.
Quality of work: First, they did not blend on external panels. They removed the bumper cover. They removed the roof rack. They painted the bumper cover off of the car, removing each and every scratch in the bumper cover, even those that pre-existed the accident. They did the same for the quarter panel. They painted the quarter panel all the way up the rear pillar forward to where it meets the front fender (there is a seam in the roof, so they did not paint the whole roof). Thus, I don't have to worry about a bad blend showing up years from now. the paint matched the factory paint perfectly, both in color and in orange peel. All-in-all, I doubt anyone would be able to tell that the panels have been repainted. No mask marks, no overspray, nothing. Bodywork always makes me nervous, and Cooks did an exceptional job.
Follow-up: After the paint dried, Cooks followed up with a wash & wax for the car. Very nice of them. While the job was only done a few months ago, I do not yet have any signs of issues. I couldn't be happier.
