Review content:
You'll see I have a review for a downtown chiropractor too. That's because I have two homes and need care for my chronic pain at both locations. I was hit by a car at 9 and have been to dozens of chiropractors at multiple locations for 20 years to find the best care, and I cannot recommend Menner Chiropractic more highly.
Dr. Dave and Dr. Jeremy are excellent and caring healers who use a variety of techniques depending on what is best for the patient. They treat the whole person with care, patience and dignity.
Dr. Dave took the time to find me an excellent chiropractor in the city when I am there, as well as a competitor in Lake Zurich who had the best traction machine (because he does not have one and I wanted to try it). This is how much he cares about his patients.
The entire staff is excellent. Menner has a good variety of high quality ""professional"" supplements (that you cannot buy in health food stores, only through health providers) but they never shove them down your throat, if you'll excuse the pun. If I ask for a recommendation, or if they believe a supplement can help me, they'll share this but not push it. This makes me want to support their business all the more and I buy my supplements there whenever possible.
Based on my symptoms, Dr. Dave recommended I get my Vitamin D tested. It was so low, my endocrinologist put me on an actual prescription of 50,000 IUs every 2 weeks. It didn't help. Dr. Dave suggested 10,000 IUs a day till it got to a normal level. I researched his recommendation and followed it. I now have a normal vitamin D level, have less pain and have experienced other positive results because of his attention to details.
I work in the natural health industry and know from my industry who many consider the most renowned and respected natural healers. Menner Chiropractic has books from only these doctors in their waiting room, another sign to me of their integrity and expertise.
