Review content:
I have two children attending the Tobin School. I do not think I could be happier with a school. The entire staff, including the founder, the director, the teachers, and the afterschool team are always friendly and seem dedicated and happy to be doing their jobs. The small classes enable my children to get the attention I think all young students need to reach their full academic potential. I love that my children are being introduced to Spanish, Mandarin, and Yoga in addition to the standard and rigorous grade-school curriculum. I am particularly impressed with the schools’ attention to the social and emotional development of each child. There is a weekly Social Thinking class, which helps the children learn to deal with all aspects of their emotions and to learn to think about how their actions and words affect others. In my search of private schools, I did not find any other schools that so actively pursued social as well as academic development. In addition to the wonderful school, there is a great afterschool program, which my children love. Care hours can range from 7 AM to 6:30 PM. That flexibility makes drop-off and pick-up very easy to manage.
