Service was quite expensive, so I presume all is properly repaired. Customer service was good at the beginning to set up an appointment, but I wasn’t impressed with your customer service when I came to pick up and pay. I left my vehicle, and gave you info on issues that needed to be addressed ( power steering leak, Check Engine lite and oil and filter change). I received call from Phil. He said the leak is from Rack & Pinion and the unit needed replacing $200 plus for parts, $200 plus for labor. He said my fuel level sensor was faulted and asked if I had noticed any problems. I said yes I had noticed a few times, but it wasn’t too often. Phil recommended it be replaced and while they were at it, they would replace my fuel pump, $1200 parts and labor estimate. Ouch! I said I don’t have a problem with my fuel pump, and he suggested it be replaced while replacing the fuel sensor. I said it wasn’t on my priority list, maybe next round, the $800+ rack & pinion replacement, diagnostic evaluation, oil change would be enough on this round. I appreciate the recommendations, but nobody wants to be taken advantage of. So I believe my power steering leak is repaired, but my Check Engine Lite is still on. When I arrived to pick up my truck, it was parked across the street from your shop unlocked. The young lady inside was very nice, but I could see she was uncomfortable because she didn’t have all the details, only the info from the paperwork. Numerous employees were still on site, but nobody offered to explain, or sell your service. I would have appreciated a bit of info about the service my truck received, for example “ How are you Jim, we found the P/S leak you mentioned, the damaged unit we replaced is over here if you would like to see it I can show you. The $165 engine evaluation we ran diagnosed a fuel level sensor fault, but sense you didn’t want us to replace it during this service, the Check Engine Lite will remain on until it is replaced. ( I hope that is why it’s still on) Do you have any other questions; here, let me wipe the dirty fingerprints off the front of your hood, sorry about that. We appreciate your business & look forward to seeing you for your next service.” Great Customer Service brings customers back and new customers in. Pricing isn't such an issue when you know you will always be taken care of.
