We have two German Shorthaired Pointers. The reason we came to Animal Alternatives is our oldest dog has allergies and we weren't happy with the conventional treatment offered by our neighborhood vet. With Dr. Lampru we can try holistic methods to treat problems and if all else fails utilize conventional medicine. \r

Our 13 year old Pointer has arthritis in her knees. Thanks to the laser treatment offered by Dr. Lampru and her caring staff, I believe her life has been extended. Several months ago her legs were failing and I thought that was the end. I called the office hysterical and was treated with compassion and received a quick call back by the doctor. She suggested a calcium magnesium supplement. I am amazed that after several months on the cal/mag and probably in conjunction with periodical laser treatments our ""first born"" is doing quite well. I feel that this is because of Dr. Lampru's knowledge and experience.\r

When we were going through that rough period where it appeared our dog was in her last days Dr. Lampru and her staff were extremely supportive and understanding. That meant the world to me as we have no children and our dogs are our ""children"". They understand how much we love our animals and that is so very important. That is why I highly recommend Animal Alternatives.\r

Another benefit to being a client of Animal Alternatives is an emergency clinic is co-located at their facility at night and on weekends. So, if you should happen to need after-hours care they are good about notifying Dr. Lampru of anything that may need follow-up. We have received excellent follow-up on emergency situations because of this co-location.
