I was very pleased with the way I was treated and with the results I received from my attorney, Paul Vames' of Harris Law Firm. From working with Paul, I learned very quickly after my accident that it is not a good idea to try and deal with insurance companies on your own. They seem to be friendly, but they are not on your side. Since day one, my insurance company pushed me to give all kinds of statements and make decisions when I was in pain and not thinking clearly. You need an attorney whom you can trust and who will work for you. From the start, Paul was the one who dealt with my case with the utmost care. He let me know what to expect. He helped me get the medical care to recover from my injury. He advised me that the amount that the insurance company was offering me was good and that I should take it. (I needed to know this right away because I needed to sign my car over to them.) Paul is very effective when working with insurance companies; he has a vast knowledge on how they work. He knew how to get the most of my claim, even though the other driver was under-insured. He worked with my medical providers to get my bill reduced substantially. He was able to settle my case outside of court, and I was very happy with the more than expected settlement check. Paul is dedicated to giving his clients upfront and honest counsel. I high recommend him to anyone who has been injured in an auto accident or loss due to another individual's neglect. You can trust and count on him every step of the way.
