Source: http://www.corliss.org/ Located in the heart of Warren, Corliss is located on the RIPTA bus route, near the east Bay bike path, and within walking distance to the downtown area of many shops and restaurants and the Town beach. Corliss owns many apartments designed to support individuals to meet the level of independence they desire. Participants receive supports in areas of personal care, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, food preparation, socialization and money management. They are supported and encouraged to live independently and maintain their own apartment and participate in the community. We also provide 24 hour group living where 3 individuals share supports to develop the skills needed to learn, live and work successfully in the community. Residential participants receive Case Management support to obtain housing assistance, food stamps, heating assistance, etc. Professional Nursing is available for staff training and to assist residents to maintain a healthy life.
