Businiess name:  Bone & Joint Clinic

Review content:
I fractured my patella and went to Williamson County Medical Center for diagnosis and xrays. I was instructed to follow up with an orthopedic doctor. I've seen Dr. Stark for numerous broken bones over the years, but this was the first time I went since Vanderbilt took over this clinic. I made an appointment, went in to see Dr. Stark, he came into the room where I was and looked at the xrays from the hospital, and said, "yes, I see the fracture. Keep wearing your brace and come back in three weeks." I was billed over $1500 for that visit, and the people at Vanderbilt Billing feel that it was justified, because according to them, it covers 90 days of care. There are totally unwilling to see that this amount of money is not justifiable for what took place. I went back for review in three weeks. At that time xrays (which I had to pay for) were taken and I was released. The total charges to the Bone and Joint clinic totaled over $1600 by the time I was done. Keep in mind, I was never diagnosed there, never receive any medical devices there, nor was I ever told in advance about the charges. Needless to say, I would have NEVER chosen to go there if I had know about this charge. As much as I like and respect Dr. Stark, I will NEVER go back.
