words cannot express my disappointment in the management of this facility. my mother lived here happily for many years despite the lies we were fed by the administrator and director of nursing. her happiness came from her interactions with a few very wonderful cna's and other residents she made friends with. if it wasn't for them we would've pulled her out of there a million times. if you disagree with anything the administrator says she literary will try to bully you into submission. her lack of knowledge on any topic related to healthcare is astounding. she is a very ignorant woman and it seriously affects the atmosphere of the facility and the way it is run. the same goes for the director of nursing. the activities they provide for the residents are few and juvenile in nature. a resident is lucky if they get any stimulation on the weekends, the time when the activity director is "off duty" even though they claim to have activity's 24 hrs a day 7 days a week" in their commercial that is played while on hold if you call there. the food is beyond terrible, and that is a fact known threw out the community. the care is ok if your loved one doesn't need much help. if they do good luck. the administrator accepts so many people that need so much help that it creates a huge imbalance in the time the girls can spend with each resident. many go neglected because they are grossly understaffed. the worst part of it all is there is nobody to turn to to try and fix any of these issues. many other families feel the same way but are afraid to stand up to them in fear for their loved ones being treated differently. we have all seen it happen over the years. i give this place one star because there are a handful of employees who are wonderful- despite the conditions they work under.
