On July 06,2010, I was riding on the back of my husband's Harley when a Black Bear(600-800 pounds) came charging out of nowhere to cross the road in Cherokee, North Carolina on Old US Hwy 411 around 5:30 p,m. The bears tooth or head busted my left knee open with a three in wide, 1/2 in deep laceration. A NP at LeConte sewed my wound and the wound healed. Between the shock of the Bear and the pain from the wound I want to give credit to God & the NP that stopped the blood & pain
