I had. a horrible experience with Women's Health Specialists. I originally had an appointment on 9/13/13 , I missed that appointment with Dr. Margaret Summitt. I called to reschedule and they attempted to give me an appointment that was 3 weeks away. I asked if I could see someone else and they recommended a Dr. Stovall. I was scheduled for Wednesday, 9/25/13. I received a message on my answering machine from a represenative of the office stating Dr. Stovall would not be in on 9/25/13 and they were putting me on the schedule to see him on 9/23/13 at 10:30. I received this message over the weekend. Noone confirmed this with me. I did not show up for this appointment because my sister had surgery on 9/23/13 and I had to be there for her .I did not have access to a phone to call the office. I called on today, 9/26/13 to reschedule and the receptionist informed me that Dr. Stovall refuses to see me because of the appointments that I have missed. I asked to be scheduled with another OBGYN and she informed me that she did not know if I could be rescheduled with anyone in the office. I asked for a office manager and she transferred me to a voice mail and the office manager stated she would not be in until after 9/30/13. I called back to talk to the receptionist and she did not answer the phone. I got the voice mail. I have fibroid tumors and I am needing surgery. I am so thankful that I found out how the doctors are at Women's Health Specialists because these are not the type of doctors I want operating on me. Just think if I had a problem with Dr. Stovall's surgery. He would refuse to see me and no one would return my calls. I will gladly call my insurance company and get another referral to another doctor or group. Thank you Women's Health Specialists!!!!!!!
