June 28 2012…….I find myself in the position of having to apologize to Dr, Stacey Sullivan at ASG. I was extremely upset when my husband came home and I saw the bill for $582. We had just spent $650 at another vet 8 days ago. Needless to say I felt what she did was not necessary and literally told her I felt I was ripped off. We had gone there for an MRI. Once there she told my husband they are not equipped for her size dog for a whole spine MRI. But proceeded to do other tests, tests I felt unwarranted… told her that too! She remained professional and calm while explaining why she did what she did. Today I received a packet from her office. In it was a type written report, lab results and a personal hand written note addressed to me. In it she went over our conversation, her opinions of my dog’s possible medical issues. Recommending and discussing with the primary physician about her labs that were abnormal, showing another possible medical problem. When I contacted her doctor, I come to find out she had already called both her Primary and her Orthopedic to discuss her evaluation of Aspen. I am astounded, that she took the time to do all this, especially after I was bad on the phone. I would love to make her both of my dogs primary DVM, but I am embarrassed to go back. So my recommendation is 10 stars…. Here is a doctor who obviously cares about her patients, and hopefully understands that sometimes fear makes us do and say what we really don’t mean. By all means, See Dr. Stacey Sullivan, I believe you and you fur baby will be in excellent hands. I wish mine were in her hands!
