Review content:
Unlike the first experience working with Metcalf to paint my back porch, this time for the interior, I was extremely disappointed.
Hung half way of the tall wall there is a horizontal extension above the fireplace to house the light fixture. Apparently the painter had stepped on the extension and broken the surface board which is covered by carpet. I did not see it during the walk through because it has been covered up and you can’t see from the staircase far away on the other side of the room. But few months later, the cover failed and I noticed the hole on that extension. I called the company and they came by to check on it. However, instead of admitting that their painter broke it, they tried to push the responsibility to the original builder saying that the builder did not do good job and it is dangerous for someone who needs to get up there. They said that under the carpet was a hole to begin with , and the only thing they can do is just try to stretch and stable the carpet. I climbed up the ladder and examined it myself closely, and realized that they skipped the broken board and literally lied to me.
At the meantime, the workers were in and out of the house left the door open, and my 2 dogs ran off. I found one of the dogs after driving around, but the second one is still missing…..
