Review content:
THESE PEOPLE FORGED MY CHECK! I ordered and received pea gravel from this business. I made the first mistake by writing the check for the wrong amount. I owed $240.41. I wrote the check out for two hundred dollars and forty cents and in the amount box wrote $240.41. I handed the check to the delivery driver not knowing about my mistake until the next day. A lady named Kim called to let us know that I wrote the check for the wrong amount. I told her NOT to cash the old check and I'd send a new check in the mail and that I was so sorry. I copied their address from their website (WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE COMPLETELY WRONG!) and mailed it off on a Monday with an apology letter for the mix up for the amount on the check. On Wednesday the delivery driver showed up to our house demanding payment. I told him we already sent it in the mail and it should be there today. He finally left after much convincing. The next day we received our letter in the mail because the address was wrong so I got the new address directly from Kim (WHICH ALSO TURNED OUT TO BE WRONG) and folded the original letter in a new envelope and sent it off again. I got it back 3 days later saying the zip code was wrong and that I didn't have enough postage. So I folded that letter and sealed it in a new envelope with 4 stamps and the new zip code (the one the post office marked on my letter) to make sure it got there this time!!! They kept calling me, my husband and my mother in-law to demand payment through this entire process. We kept telling them the check was in the mail and they would reply ""We've heard that story before."" I called them a week later to see if my new check ever got there and Sally said ""No."" I told her that if it still wasn't there by the next day I would pay the full amount over the phone by debit card. I called the next day and still no check so I paid what I owed. Problem was they charged my card for only $40 and cashed my original wrong check. Not only were they EXTREMELY RUDE but THEY ALSO CASHED MY ORIGINAL CHECK BY FORGING THE AMOUNT AND MY INITIALS!!!! They wrote in the word ""forty"" and forged my initials in order to cash the check because they refused to wait for the new check. I know this for a fact because I have the original carbon copy and the statement from my bank with their new written additions to my check. THIS IS FRAUD!!! Such a terrible company to do that to someone! I would NEVER use them again and would NEVER recommend them.
