Review content:
Just had a burger there which is what this tavern is supposedly famous for. The burger was good. However, the STARTING price of the burger is $7.99. That's a burger and a bun. I added cheese, mushrooms, onion and FIVE peppers rings for an additional .75 per item EACH. This wasn't clear on the menu. So I add a side order of about 12 French fries for an additional $1.99. This brings my burger and fries lunch to $13. Service was very slow for the number of diners at noon. My wife had the ""special"" a chicken wrap with side salad. I had one draft beer and my wife had a soft drink. Total bill before tip was $30. I don't mind paying inflated prices for huge portions and a take home box, but this was nothing beyond typical bar food at an outrageous price. I won't go back and wouldn't recommend it with so many other good places to eat in the area.
