Review content:
My wife and I just get their Tomato Pies and pizzas, so this review is limited to those items. When we started we loved their pies. Then things trailed off and we would get as many bad pies as good ones (at least by our taste). So one day we called and talked to one of the gents at the restaurant to figure out why we liked the pies sometimes and other times not. The secret: ask for the pies to be well done. MAGNIFICENT! We have been doing this for a few years now.* In that time we have had maybe one mediocre pizza and dozens of pies ranging from very good to heavenly. And lately they have really found their stride. Every pie coming from Palermo's in Ewing has been wonderful. I just placed an order as I write this and I can't wait for it to arrive.... you should order too, but ask for the pie WELL DONE! You'll understand the Home Simpson drool.
*- only a fraction of our orders have been thru Grub Hub.
