I first took my ring in to see what I could get for it. At the time Joe and his staff were pleasant. Joe told me he did not want my ring setting, but would buy my diamond (1.4 ct princess cut) for $1000. I didn't really want to just give my ring away, so he advised me to try Craigslist and even offered to let me have people meet me at his store if they wanted to check it out. Unfortunately our van needs an new engine and we've gotten down to the wire on needing the money. I called Joe and was told that he would still pay 1000$ for my diamond and to bring it back in. My husband took my ring and then JOE turned into a DISHONEST CON ARTIST! He tried to say my diamond wasn't the size we stated it was. So either he doesn't know his jewelry or he thinks we don't and wants to screw us over. What it comes down to is that once he realized we needed the money he TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US! SCUMBAG!! RUN and try some place else!
