I am an Au Pair from Australia living in Salt Lake City. I have lived here for approx. 2 months now and have been in the States for approx. 16 months. I am a nanny back home, so I decided to become an Au Pair so I could gain more experience in childcare but able to explore a new country at the same time! I spent my first year with another family in Atlanta, and had such a wonderful time with them. For my second year I am very excited to be with my current family in Salt Lake City, they are amazing and I am absolutely loving my experience. My family offer me the chance to be involved in whatever they are doing, but also encourage me to go out and do things with other au pairs and make friends. I have been able to travel to so many different places as an Au Pair, get involved with a lot of different things, and all the Go Au Pair staff I have been in contact with for whatever reason have been extremely helpful and understanding. It's so far been such an incredible experience and I'm so excited for whatelse is coming up in the time that I have left!
