I would highliy recommend this great hotel! My family stayed there for about a week. They have a great pool area, the food is really good. They provide complementary shuttle service to different areas of the island. Their first stop is in the old historic part of the island, where there are a tons of places to eat along the shore. The second stop is on Duvall Street Square, where there is lots and lots of shopping. You should try Red Fish Blue Fish Restaurant, and for sure to try Pepis ...I think it is called, the best food and it has been there for years.\r The Double Tree on key west is by far the best Double tree that I have stayed in. The staff at the front were very friendly and one of the managers named Kevin who is there in the evening, was especially very helpful. We even decided to stay two more days! The shuttle also stops at the beach, where there are towels provided and lawn chairs and umbrellas to sit under. The hotel also has a room with two computers in it, so that you can get on the internet for no extra charge. There is complementary shuttle service to and from the airport, so really you do not even need to rent a car. The parking in the historic area and most of the places you will want to visit is about $15-$20 each time.\r If I go back to Key West I will for sure be staying at the resort for sure. Pros: Friendly Staff, Great Cookies, Good location Cons: $10 for parking each day
