I used to have a poodle and yes they need to be groomed! It is scary to put your pet in the hands of the stranger but I felt good about bringing my pooch here. It is located in a very posh part of town where it seems very safe. The shop itself is kept very clean and there is no unfriendly pet odor. The prices vary depending on what you want done and how big your dog is. And they are very professional. My dog would usually just have a bath, toe nail clipping and a haircut. That would run me around 60 dollars. I think that is a good price because at least the hair cut would last a couple of months. I would just make sure you make your appointment at least a few weeks in advance because they are busy. My little poodle had no problems getting groomed here because the groomers are gentle and kind.
