My school's TV Production class had an excellent Sony Handy-cam HD video recorder, only it didn't work. No one could fix it and the school did not have a repair budget or $5000 to buy another one, so the TV Production class was using flip cameras. I heard that CPR was opening in Chandler and they could figure out how to fix most electronics and repair them in house. I took it in and they were able to diagnose the problem in about an hour and give me and excellent price. They called me and told me the parts would take about a week to come in and then they could repair it and get it back to me shortly thereafter. They had great customer service, the manager explained that they were not sure but they thought the problem was with the alignment of the eye and video tray. I had concerns because it was a new store but they were the only ones that had even given me some hope. The manager also assured me that they have a six month guarantee! Overall, CPR did an excellent job repairing my device, which had been sitting useless for over a year. They had great customer service and were up front with me, letting me know that it may not work even after they attempted to fix it. There are thousands of electronics with thousands of problems and they may not get it right especially since I did not know exactly what had happened to the camera in the first place. It has been almost two months now and all is well. The TV Production, productions, are in HD and not shaky anymore!
