I was a little worried about the $500 estimate I was given for my husband's truck to be repaired recently. But, it needed to be fixed and we trusted that the price was fair and accurate. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told that it was ready for pickup and was only going to be $190. I was trusting in the Lord to provide for our family, knowing that $500 to fix the truck would drain our emergency fund...$200 left us in the clear for further crisis. Like when a pipe burst in the upstairs bathroom and flooded the kitchen below...while the truck was in for repair...whew. So glad I had the extra $300 in the emergency fund still to repair the house as well. It could have been very bad.
